It’s a deoxycholic acid injectable that reduces the appearance of moderate to severe fat cells beneath the chin. This is the perfect treatment for those bothered by their “double chin.” Kybella can eliminate fat cells in the submental area; thus, no further treatment is needed once optimum results are achieved and weight maintained.
The advantages of this treatment include:
- Slenderized and contoured chin
- Nonsurgical procedure
- No scalpels or liposuction
- Seamlessly melts the fat cells, resulting in a refined jawline
The Treatment
Kybella

Deoxycholic acid is a molecule naturally produced by your body and aids in absorbing fat cells. During the consultation, we’ll determine if you’re an excellent candidate for Kybella. When the injectable is administered beneath the chin, it destroys fat cells permanently, resulting in a visible reduction of fat. Once destroyed, these fat cells can’t accumulate fat, and further treatments aren’t necessary. We recommend a minimum of two and up to six treatments. Patients get a 25% to 35% reduction of submental fat beneath the chin. We recommend 2-3 treatments for optimal results. The treatments are typically spaced by 4-6 weeks. The injections can also be administered on other body areas, such as the jowls, bra bulges, and inner thighs, which may have pockets of fat cells.
